My work is about finding visual rhythms within the confines of a canvas space. I begin with the energy of a drawing, a single line that defines the space until it finds form. My intention is to inspire an immediate sensory response. I am inspired by artists such as Lee Bontecou and the sculptures of Louise Bourgeois as well as graphic art.
