Nadel's solo exhibitions on disease, war, and human rights, have been exhibited at over two dozen venues around the world including The Field Museum in Chicago, Hotel de Ville in Paris, The Emir Palace in Abu Dhabi, The National Museum of Ghana, and the United Nations Headquarters in New York City.

Nadel, a former Staff Photographer at the Associated Press in NYC, works both domestically and internationally for publications such as The Times of London, Time Magazine, The Telegraph (UK), and The New York Times, who nominated his work out of Iraq for a Pulitzer in 2006. His touring museum projects on civilians and war, disease, and environmental issues, have been funded and supported by the National Science Foundation, Magnum Foundation, Malaria Consortium, and the World Heath Organization, and New York Foundation of the Arts Fellowships (06,13), among others.
