Barbara Westermann is a German sculptor, trained urban planner and installation artist who uses a visual language to ‘embody’ utilitarian objects and infrastructures. Her work has exhibited internationally at Malkasten in Düsseldorf Germany, the Tate in London, the Whitney Biennial, MoMA PS1, Dia Art Foundation, and Paula Cooper Gallery, among many others. Her sculptures, prints, and drawings are minimalist and conceptual, with an emphasis on architecture, relief, geometry, and music.
Liene Bosquê received her MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She received her BFA from the Sao Paulo State University, and a BA in Architecture and Urbanism from the Mackenzie University, both in Brazil. Her work has been included in museum and gallery shows in Brazil, Portugal, Turkey, South Korea and has also been exhibited in United States in MoMA Ps1, Museum of Contemporary Photography in Chicago, Cuchifritos Gallery in New York, among others. Recently, she received the Emerging Artist Fellowship from the Socrates Sculpture Park.
